Our Story

Shalonis Funeral Home has been serving Marysville and the surrounding communities since November of 1978. Michael J. Shalonis and his wife, Kathy, dedicated more than four decades to compassionately working with hundreds of families as they laid loved ones to rest. Mike served as Supervisor and a funeral director until he and Kathy retired. In 2023, Mike and Kathy sold the funeral home to Tom Ford, Supervisor, knowing he would build upon the respected legacy they had built.

Before becoming Shalonis Funeral Home, the property was the former parsonage of Wesley United Methodist Church.
