Bonnie L. Baker

Bonnie L. Baker, 75, of Duncannon, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024, surrounded by family at her home in Penn Township.  Born Wednesday, July 21, 1948, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Ned and Ruth (Spigelmyer) Baker.

Bonnie worked as a Stenographer for the PA Liquor Control Board and later the PA State Police for over 37 years.  She was on the board of SMFA as the Secretary for 7 years. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by a daughter, Roxann M. (Dare) Kennedy, married to Eric, as well as a granddaughter, Kimberly L. Kennedy, all of Duncannon.  Also surviving are a brother, Reed, married to Deb Baker, of Duncannon, as well as Bonnie’s extended family and caring friends. 

A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Marysville Church of God, 106 Maple Avenue, Marysville, PA  17053, with Pastor Rodger Scheuing officiating.  A time of visitation with the family will be held from 11 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Michael J.   1. My thoughts and prayers are with Bonnie’s family. We attended the United Church of Christ and graduated in the Class of 1966. I was so sad to read this obituary.
