Lillian E. Buckles, 65, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 19th, 2024, at her home in Marysville surrounded by her loving family. Born Friday, October 10, 1958, in Kittanning, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph A. and Emma I. (Gauker) Toy. She was married to Charles A. Buckles III for over 42 years until his death on April 19, 2019.
She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Lillian is survived by three daughters: Penny L., married to Jeffrey Crider, of Enola, Tracy L., married to Jeremy Burke, of Harrisburg and Wendy L., married to John Edkin Jr. of Marysville. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 1 sister as well as Lillian’s numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and caring friends.
Private services and interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 206 Maple Avenue, Marysville, PA 17053, 717-957-3451.
